WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE?

EXODUS 32: 1-26

" Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, who is on the LORD's side?" (Exodus 32:26 KJV)

Who is on the Lord's side? Sometimes you just assume everyone in church should be on the Lord's side but it never happens that way. The Lord had called Moses up to the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments. However, before he came down from God's presence, some of the people had asked for another god. A golden calf had been produced for them by Pastor Aaron. The reason Aaron gave was that they asked for it.

There is no better time to repeat this question than now. WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE? Who is interested in doing the Will of God? Who is standing for the truth? Who has separated himself like Daniel so as not to defile himself? Who is prepared to stand for the Lord even if everyone else is on the other side?

Beloved, on that day, Moses was not left alone, there was a remnant. The tribe of Levi stood up for the Lord out of twelve tribes of Israel. David also stood up for his God in the day of Goliath. Shedrack, Meshack, Abednego and Daniel all stood up in honour of the God of heaven and earth in the land of Babylon. Elijah stood for God on mount Carmel. What about you? Whose side are you on?

Those on the Lord's side know the importance of holiness, love, forgiveness, faithfulness etc.
