Text: John 4:21-24
Memory Verse: John 9:31
Now, we know that God heareth not sinners but if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth his will, he heareth.
INTRODUCTION
One of the thing, we can do in Christ is to worship God. Worshipping God is an act of submission and loyalty to God. We can worship through Christ which was not so before we became believers.
DISCUSSION
How do we worship God?
Worship God Alone: God expects us to worship Him alone and no other thing. We can now worship God in spirit and in truth. We are to submit ourselves to God in worship and sincerely. (John 4:23-24)
In Singing and Praise: We can worship God in songs, dancing and praises. We can do all these to adore God for what he had done, created for our comfort, blessings and what he can still do for us. God inhabits the praises we give to him. (Psalms 22:3) We worship God in praises, in songs, and with our instruments. (Psalms 150:1-6)
In Fellowship With God: We can now in Christ have fellowship and relationship with God what Adam and Eve lost because of sin. Jesus Christ had received us in him that we can have fellowship with God. (Ephesians 2:16-19; 1 John 1:6-7)
