Text: Galatians 2: 20-21
Memory Verse: John 10:14
I am the good Shepherd I know my sheep and am known of mine.
INTRODUCTION
We are what we are in Christ because he had called us, justified us and sanctified us to be his children.
DISCUSSION
What are we in Christ?
We are Chosen: We as Christians are privilege to be chosen to walk in his vineyard. We are chosen to win souls and reconcile sinners to God. (John 15:16; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
We are His Workmanship: God had created us in his own image to do good works. (Ephesians 2:10) We are fearfully and wonderfully made to project the good works of God.
Adopted Into God’s Family: Jesus had adopted us to be children. It had given us to benefit from the full blessings of God through Christ. (Romans 8:15-17)
Made Head and Not the Tail: Jesus Christ had made us the head over all others and had given us the power to trample over Satan and his agents. (Luke 10:19; 9:1)
REVIEWS QUESTION
What was the promise of God to the Israelites? (Deuteronomy 28:13)
CONCLUSION
Let us know and understand what we are in Christ and demonstrate our identities to the world.
