What are You in Christ (I Am in Christ 3)

Text: Galatians 2: 20-21

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 6:1

And such were some of you, but ye washed but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.

INTRODUCTION

In Christ, we were born again by grace and we live by grace. Even in our weaknesses, His grace is sufficient for us.

DISCUSSION

What are we in Christ?

We are Victorious: In Christ we have victory, we overcome the world, sickness, lack and overcome the power of Satan. This is because Christ has Given us victory (1 John 5:4-5; Romans 8:31-37)

Secure in Christ: Safety is of the Lord (Proverbs 21:31), as Christians we are secured in Christ of our safety. The name of the Lord is a strong coverage over us wherever we go and we stay. (Proverbs 8:11; Psalms 61:3) We are not to be afraid. (John 10:28-29)

Salt of the World: In every fake one, there is also a genuine one. Christians are the flavor that give taste to the world. We are the salts that make things beautiful anywhere we find ourselves. (Matthew 5:13)

We are New Creatures in Him: We are new creatures in him because we are born again of the spirit not by the flesh. Being born again had made us new creatures. (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:23; John 1:12-13)
