What Are You in Christ? (I Am in Christ 2)

Text: Galatians 2:20-21

Memory Verse: Acts 17:28

For in him, we live and move and have our being, as certain also of your own priests have said, for we are also his offspring.

INTRODUCTION

As we know who we are in Christ, we can do all things though Christ who strengthens us by the Holy Spirit. We feel limited because we do not understand who we are in Christ.

DISCUSSIONS

What are we in Christ?

Citizen of Heaven: Christians should not live on this earth as if it is there final home we are only just passing through, our home is Heaven. We should focus our hope and reward in heaven and not on this earth (1 Peter 2:11; 1 Corinthians 15:19)

Light of the Word: Light shows direction, Christians are the light of the world that shows direct/good example to the unbelievers to follow. We should be of good example where ever we find ourselves. (Matthew 5:14-15)

No More Condemned: Christ had free the believers from the guilt of sin and inferior complex. Christians Should be bold and proud of their identities in Christ. They should not allow other opinions to confuse them (Romans 8:1-2, 1 Corinthians 11:32, 1 John 3:21)

Why should exploit who we are and utilize them in Christ to glorify God.
