In a world where power and influence are often measured by wealth, status, and authority, it's easy to forget that true power comes from a positive influence. As Christians, we are called to be a light in the darkness, to spread love, kindness, and hope.

Positive influence is the ability to inspire, encourage, and uplift others. It's the power to make a difference in someone's life, to help them see their worth, and to bring them closer to God. When we choose to be a positive influence, we are:

1. Reflecting God's love (1 John 4:8)

2. Being a light in the darkness (Matthew 5:14-16)

3. Showing the power of kindness (Proverbs 31:26)

4. Helping others find their purpose (Ephesians 4:1-16)

The Weakness of Negative Influence:

Negative influence, on the other hand, is the ability to bring others down, to spread darkness, and to lead them away from God. When we choose to be a negative influence, we are:

1. Reflecting the enemy's lies (John 8:44)

2. Being a stumbling block (Matthew 18:6)

3. Showing the power of selfishness (James 3:14-16)

4. Hindering others from finding their purpose (1 Corinthians 3:3-4)

Scripture References:

- 1 John 4:8

- Matthew 5:14-16

- Proverbs 31:26

- Ephesians 4:1-16

- John 8:44

- Matthew 18:6

- James 3:14-16

- 1 Corinthians 3:3-4

Positive influence is true power because it reflects God's love and brings others closer to Him. Negative influence is true weakness because it reflects the enemy's lies and leads others away from God. As Christians, let us strive to be a positive influence in the world, spreading love, kindness, and hope. May we use our power to uplift others and bring glory to God.
