Text: Hebrews 5:11-14
Memory Verse: Hebrew. 5:14
But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
INTRODUCTION
There are mysteries associated with the way God operates, but it takes the spiritually mature to search them out (John. 3:8:10; 1 Corinthians 15:51). There is a time in the life of a Christian where he/she relates that there is more to be learnt about God but it takes determination to search it out (1 Peter 2:2).
DISCUSSION
What are the qualifications to acquire knowledge?
Have The Knowledge About Jesus Christ: The more you know about Jesus Christ, the more your knowledge of spiritual things grow. No one reveals has secret to a total stranger. The knowledge of Jesus Christ gives you hope, help and to live well which you give to others. (Philippians 3:10, 2 Peter 3:18)
Be A Doer Of God's Will: It is God that worked in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13) As you love God and do things that pleases Him and He will reveal more of himself to you (John. 14:15; Colossians 1:9-10)
Humility: Humility permits you to be taught through the holy spirit of God to be teachable. The meek is always ready to learn (Matthew 11:29, Psalms. 25:9, Psalms 103:7)
Live A Surrendered Life: Those who God reveals himself to are mostly people who have surrendered to Jesus to dictate the course of their lives. No one can do the will of the Father without a surrendered life (Philippians 3:8-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3)
