Introduction:
Jesus promised His disciples that He would send a Helper, the Holy Spirit, to be with them forever (John 14:16-17). This promise extends to us today, and the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in our lives as believers.
The Counselor:
The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth (John 16:13), helping us understand God's Word and apply it to our lives. He convicts us of sin (John 16:8), leading us to repentance and a deeper relationship with God.
The Helper:
The Holy Spirit empowers us to overcome obstacles and challenges (Acts 1:8). He gives us spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4-6) and fruits (Galatians 5:22-23) to build up the body of Christ and share God's love with the world.
