The Efficacy of the Blood of Jesus (The Blood of Jesus Reconciles Us to God)

Text: Hebrews 9:11-26

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood and without shedding of blood is no remission.

INTRODUCTION

By the law, every man is guilty but Jesus Christ offered himself willingly and sacrifice his blood and reconcile man to God. So as many as received him as Lord and Savior is covered by the grace to access God. (Hebrews 9:12; 10:19)

DISCUSSION

What do we benefit from the efficacy of the blood of Jesus?

The Blood Of Jesus Restores Our Glory: The Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Sin rendered man impotent (powerless) and blank about God. But by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ sin has been forgiven and man’s glory had been restored. (Romans 3:25)

The Blood Of Jesus Gives Life: The blood in man is the life of man. Once there is no blood in man, he will die. So, spiritually Jesus Christ offered his blood to us believers that we might be saved by faith. It also bonds us together with him. (John 6:53-56; Leviticus 17:11)

The Blood Of Jesus Justifies Us: Man in sin was hopeless and condemned. But the death and resurrection of Jesus and his blood had justified every believer. (Romans 5:9)
