The Efficacy of the Blood of Jesus (The Blood Heals)

Text: Isaiah 53:1-12

Memory Verse: Isaiah 53:5

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed.

INTRODUCTION

Jesus’ death did not only save us but it also heals us. He was bruised, chastised and scorched to give us complete healing spiritually and physically. The blood of Jesus Christ had redeemed us from all sins and God had made us whole. (Ephesians 1:7)

DISCUSSION

How does the blood of Jesus Christ heal spiritually and physically?

Christ’s Death Purifies Us: Jesus death and shedding of his blood on the cross had purified us as Christians from all our iniquities. He had redeemed us from all unrighteousness. (Titus 2:14)

Partaking In The Holy Communion: The Lord’s Table (Holy Communion) is one the most spiritually and physically means of enjoying supernatural healing by the blood of Jesus. He took the Holy Communion with his disciples and asked them to continue until his second coming. (Matthew 26:27-29)

We Have Access To God By The Blood: The blood of Jesus is the path way for us as believers to have access to God. We were alienated as strangers from God before Jesus’ death. But now the blood of Jesus had qualified us to have divine healing as our right. (Romans 5:8-9)
