THE ALARM IS SOUNDING AGAIN

GENESIS 7:15-24
“And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.” (Genesis 7:23 KJV)
Noah was calling out for everybody to get into the ark. It was a time of great grace. Everyone thought things, friends, family will stay forever but God's judgment was speedily approaching against the land of Sodom and Gomorrah. Noah tried his best to call their attention to the danger at their doorsteps, but no one had his time. All he got was mockery. They had their businesses to focus on, family to handle, houses to build, cars to buy, debts to pay, scholarships to apply for and marriages to prepare for etc.
These are the same reasons we have been so busy. The alarm is sounding again. More than the pursuit of the things of this life that we all will surely leave behind one day, we are neglecting our souls. As we continue our journey on earth, please focus on God and how to please Him more than everything else. Forgive one another and let His Spirit lead you in all things. For the people of Sodom and Gomorrah who refused Godly counsel, they were destroyed and never lived again. Everything that was important to them was destroyed alongside. Those who followed friends to dishonour God, perished alongside their friends. No one could help the other when the judgment of God began. I pray, as we reflect on these words, wisdom will carry us to the right path in Jesus name. Amen.
Serving God is not a show. It is a very important part of your life. Therefore, do not use it to play game by the road side.
