TEAM JESUS

EPHESIANS 4:1-13

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:13KJV)

Team Jesus is a special set of people with same mind, goals, rules and complimentary skills. Like every Team, there is a Leader and His name is Jesus. This Team is unique in many ways. It is made up of different kinds of people e.g. fisher men, lawyers, doctors, tax collectors, the soldiers, business men, young men and yet have same identity made possible by the blood of Jesus. "And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." (Acts 11:26).

Members of this Team have the following in common:

HAVE SAME MIND: "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ ". 1 Corinth 2:16.

SAME HOPE: "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" Colossians 1:27.

MOVE TOGETHER: "And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples." Matthew 9:19 .

DINE TOGETHER: "And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples." Matthew 9:10 .

PRAY TOGETHER: "And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all." Acts 20:36.

PREACH TOGETHER: "And they went out, and preached that men should repent" Mark 6:12.

SHARE JOY AND PAINS TOGETHER: "Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Acts 11:29,14:20.

Time is running out and the harvest is ripe. Go for the harvest!. Go for the Goal. Team Jesus!
