There is no throne that exists without the knowledge of God. The very omniscient nature of God implies that our heavenly father is aware of all things, trials, tribulations, circumstances, name it. He is truly faithful and true to his nature. He is who he says he is and will do all he says he will. Think about this, if he will not let the words of his prophets fall to the ground unaccomplished, then what about his own promises? Learn to believe in God.
One major incident in the bible where God proves his faithfulness is in the journey of the Children of Israel. In Numbers 22 - 29, after the children of Israel (God's own people) had fought against the Amorites and defeated them in battle, they began a march toward Moab. When Balak, the king of Moab saw this, he became alarmed. He did not want his nation or his people annihilated and so he hatched a plan. Knowing well that the children of Israel had solid spiritual backing, he called a diviner named Balaam and he asked him to place curse on the children of Israel. He also promised the priest great fortune, perhaps, in attempt to keep his motivation up. The prophet accepted this offering and made up his mind to do the king's bidding but on his way he had several encounters. His donkey spoke and he saw angel who appeared to him to instruct him not to curse God's people. On getting to the destination, Balaam tried to curse the children of Israel but the Holy Spirit put words of blessings on his tongues instead.
This happened despite the fact that the children of Israel had not walked perfectly with God and that they complained a lot. That was a show of faithfulness but let us look further to discover what happens because of sin using this same story as a reference.
The bible reveals that Balaam disobeyed God and taught Balak that he could weaken the Israelites by enticing them to sin against God. The plan worked and some Israelites committed serious sins and turned away from the Lord, they were all killed. Many would recount this occurrence and may conclude that God is not all too faithful because he let bad things happen to some of the Israelites. Here is the truth, God is always faithful.
God gave man free will, the ability to make decisions but he also recommended the best decisions for man. He asked man to choose a life of holiness, blessings, and dedication to him. Whenever disobeys or ignores the instruction of God, man by implication has decided to sin and sin creates a demarcation between God and man. Sin has consequences, now imagine the terrible things that could happen to a man who decides to ignore the voice of the wisdom of God (Jesus). For you to enjoy or experience the faithfulness of God in your life, there needs to be a connection between you and God and sin attempts to severe that connection or relationship we have we the Father.
Now all sins are not equal, the bible makes it clear to us. This is why all sins can be forgiven except for the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. This is also why those who committed "serious sin (grave sin)" were killed in the battle against Balak. Beloved, God is ever willing to show up for you and he has prepared the best for you but, for you to experience the blessed and expected end he desires to bring to you, you must play your part by avoiding sin.
You enjoy God's faithfulness better when you obey him. Stay faithful!
