Text: Hebrews 10:35-36
Memory Verse: Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
INTRODUCTION
Confidence is one of the greatest dimensions of faith in God. Faith is a combination of both confidence and courage. It is assurance on God to face any challenge. The spirit of God on man gave man the grace, strength, courage and divine abilities. Faith in God makes the boundary between the believers and the unbelievers.
DISCUSSION
How to exercise confidence in God?
Be Diligent: We should keep our heart with all diligence and renew it each day. (Proverbs 4:23)
Seek God's Help Always: We should look up to God to help us. We should open up to God. This is because He is the God of possibilities. (Luke 1:37; Mark 9:23)
Exercise Faith: Faith in God what makes the difference between the believers and unbelievers. Believers must exercise faith in God for all things. (Hebrews 11:6; 10:38-39)
REVIEW QUESTION
What did Jesus Christ say to His disciples? (Mark 11:22)
CONCLUSION
What makes the difference is that believers must be firm, deliberate and have strong belief in the unchangeable God. We must be courageous to go through the test and come out victorious.
