God's Absolute Power

2 SAMUEL 6:6-11

MEMORY VERSE: "The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up." (1 Samuel 2:6 KJV)

God has the absolute power both to kill and to bless as we see in our text today. Whereas Uzzah was killed for touching the ark of God, Obededom was blessed for keeping the ark of God. Let us therefore be careful how we walk with the Lord. When we walk with Him deliberately and consciously in the light of His word, He blesses us but if we get careless, the consequences are not pleasant.

Sanctify yourself always as the carrier of God's presence.
