GENESIS 3:1-11
“And He said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” (Genesis 3:11 KJV)
God takes time to feed His people spiritually and physically. For example, He fed Elijah in 1 Kings 17:4 "And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there." Infact in the days of the early disciples, Jesus so fed them that others began to call them names (those who never fasted, always eating and drinking). In Matthew 5:1-2, He went to the mountain just to feed them spiritually and there are several other instances we can refer to.
Adam and Eve ate a fruit that they were never meant to eat because God did not prescribe it for them. They later discovered that they were naked and felt so ashamed that they began to sew fig leaves together and made themselves aprons. This however was only the beginning of many more troubles.
Whatever God disallows in your life must stay disallowed. If you disobey God because of the pleasure of sin, you will soon find out how worthless sin is.
Disallow what God disallows in your life.
